My quest has ended! If you don’t already know I favor the lager brews especially during the summer. I have always wanted to find a micro brewed lager that I enjoyed! Well recently I went to the land of Sam Walton and Wal-mart and visited the gorgeous little college town of Fayetteville, Arkansas, home of [...]

Beer has regained the US adult drink-of-choice title after several years of sharing with, or even losing to, wine. Beer has a double-digit lead over wine in the latest Gallop poll. “The trend back to beer reflects a shift among drinkers aged 30 to 49 years old, the survey indicates.”

Yes, I am serious and I am over 21. I am a Comic Book reading adult. I like a good quality beer with my comics occasionally. I am not saying to open up a beer for every comic you read, it’s just nice, now and then. You see a great part of drinking craft [...]

I’ve had several Fat Tires lately and frankly they have tasted a little off. Come to think of it, the 1554 Belgian Black Ale and Tripple Belgian Style Ale, also from New Belgium Brewery, have tasted funny as well.
Don’t get me wrong. I think New Belgium is a great brewery. They are one of the [...]

Not really a tour as much a tasting and a gathering of like-minded beer drinkers. This was my first time at a local brewery, since I found out they existed. The people were, to use the cliché, warm and friendly. Everybody was there for the beer, plain and simple. It was good beer too. I [...]

The weather upon my return to the Mondial de la Bière de Montreal on Saturday was foul; the festival’s patrons, in such conditions, were far fewer and as my friend and I ascended the stair coming from the street below we felt we were becoming part of some high-powered elite, composed of an asymmetrical blend [...]
